We Can Trip Upon Miracles and Still Not Notice Them
Gary Cooperberg
August 3, 2008
This morning’s headlines included a report that Hamas and the PLO are killing one another in Gaza. It would seem that, since Israel has refused to destroy her enemies, G-d has begun to arrange to have them destroy themselves for us! Not to be outdone by miracles they cannot even recognize, Israeli leaders have decided to intervene and grant refuge and medical attention to PLO victims who were permitted to come into Israel for that purpose!
The very least that should have been hoped for in the Gaza giveaway fiasco, was for us to be able to simply close the door and let the Arabs solve their own problems. By giving them complete control in Gaza and deporting all the Jews living there, one would have assumed that Israel, if not willing to simply destroy our enemies living there, could at least be relieved from any obligations to them. Never mind that they have been bombing our civilian populations, our hapless leaders have decided that for “humanitarian” reasons, we should help save our enemies from self-destruction!
It is unbelievable that we have so called leaders who still think that Fatah is on our side! Clearly all terrorist groups have the identical goal to destroy Israel. No matter who wins in their internal conflicts, Israel loses. At the very least we should permit the factions to continue to destroy one another and just stay out of it. It is nothing short of insanity to intervene to save one terrorist group from another.
This is just one more in a long list of attempts at national suicide by our leadership. Even when miracles are performed to save us from our enemies, we seek to destroy the miracles! It is bad enough that we have refused to defeat our enemies in every war we have fought. But now we even seek to help terrorist gangs who are all working to destroy us! Just when it seemed that we are as suicidal as we can be, our leaders make new, hitherto undreamed of, strides in that same direction. How can anyone fail to see the miracle of our very existence?
It matters not who the next president of the USA might be. And it matters even less who the next prime minister of Israel might be. The Divine Process of Redemption is moving forward and no power on Earth can stop it. Any effort to interfere will result in needless tragedy, but the Biblical Process will continue in spite of those efforts. All we can do is try our best to get our leaders to act in accordance with Divine Will and Biblical Destiny. Project Shofar is sounding the alarm to wake up all who are willing to listen. For the Jew it is time to come home. For the Gentile it is time to recognize that the Jewish State is not a beggar country that needs help... it is the only ray of light in a world of growing darkness. It is the vehicle by which nations and individuals may be able to redeem themselves before it is too late.
Project Shofar is dedicated to spreading these truths wherever it is possible to do so. It is sounding the alarm, to Jew and Gentile alike, to open our eyes to the G-dly process that is presently underway, and work to support it. We dare not stand idly on the sidelines.
