What if There Really was a War and We Pretended it was Peace?

Albert Einstein once defined insanity as performing the same experiment over and over with the expectation that eventually the results will change. Clearly the Israeli and American governments fulfill that definition as they continue to engage in, what they choose to call, a “peace” process.

Project Shofar Video

Back in 1948, when the League of Nations agreed to the partition plan which granted recognition to a tiny part of what is today the Jewish State, the Jews accepted this precarious agreement, while the Arabs attacked us with the intent to wipe out the tiny new Jewish State. This was the beginning of the War of Independence. While many may choose not to believe it, this war is still going on. Israel has chosen not to win this war, rather to maintain the status quo. Believe it or not, the war is winnable. But when you have leaders who choose not to recognize the war it is nearly impossible to win it. Read More…

Netanyahu is Bad for Israel

One does not negotiate his homeland. Israel is not a piece of real estate that is ours to sell bargain or give away. Our enemies have no trouble telling the world that they cannot negotiate their homelands as it would go against their religion. Yet the Jewish State has never made such a claim, even though our claim is far more justified than theirs.

What is worse is the fact that a small band of Arab squatters from foreign Arab countries are living in Israel and claiming that it always belonged to them. They have created fact from fiction and succeeded beyond all reasonable expectations. The PLO has spent the last forty years murdering Jews and declaring their intention to establish a new Arab state upon the present Jewish one. Rather than simply obliterate this blight from our soil, our own leaders have decided to try to accommodate it!! Read More…

“A Modest Proposal”

In today’s Jerusalem Post, Ami Ayalon, former director of Israeli national security services, proposed a new law which he is certain will bring us peace. The fact is that his proposal is not new. What is most amazing about his suggestion is that he actually seems to believe it.

Like most left wing politicians, this fellow clearly has no concept of the Divine element of the reborn Jewish State. To him the creation of the Jewish State was simply incredible luck which cannot last forever.

His solution is to surrender now before our enemies destroy us. He feels that if Israel withdraws from all of Judea and Samaria, even without a peace agreement, that the Arabs will be compelled to recognize our sincere desire for peace and thus welcome us as good neighbors in the lands we lived in prior to the Arab attack of 1967 which sought to destroy us when we did not have settlements in Judea and Samaria.

When We Worship Democracy Above Judaism We Invite Our Self Destruction

It is surrealistic to watch the incredible debates which take place in our schizophrenic Knesset. As reported in the Jerusalem Post, “the Knesset plenum voted 34 to 16 late on Tuesday night to strip MK Haneen Zoabi (Balad) of some of her parliamentary privileges, following her participation in the Gaza flotilla aboard the MV Mavi Marmara.

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Gila Gamliel took the podium to explain why Zoabi’s actions undermined the democracy of which Zahalka spoke. “I hear MK Zoabi defining herself as a Palestinian and I ask – if you are a Palestinian, why are you a member of the Israeli Knesset?” Read More…

And Now, From Washington DC: Its The Barak and Bibi Show

They should have sold tickets. It was truly a wonderful performance by two highly skilled used car salesmen. They patted one another on the back and declared how much they loved one another.

Obama got a lot of flack from the Jewish community and others over his shabby treatment of Bibi last go round. He needed to smooth ruffled feathers and he did a masterful job.

Bibi, for his part, needed to show his constituents that he could get back into good graces with the American administration without giving away too much. The both of them spoke glowingly of one another and how much they both want peace. Key phrases like “confidence building measures”; “risks for peace”; “concrete steps”; “move the peace process further along in a very robust way,” may have been loaded with heavy implications but were truly vague and undefined terms. Host Gary Cooperberg on His Next Speaking Tour

In the following video, Gary invites you to consider hosting him during his next speaking tour:

Guess Who was Invited to a Kosher Dinner?

Mahmoud Abbas, the present leader of the PLO and protege of Yasir Arafat; the mastermind of the Munich Massacre which murdered Jewish athletes at the Olympic games; and author of a thesis to prove that the holocaust never happened, was recently hosted at a dinner by the S. Daniel Abraham Center for Middle East Peace.

Abbas charmed his audience of American Jewish leaders with his soft-spoken conciliatory tone; his rejection of violence; his recognition of the Jewish connection to the Holy Land; and his desire for peace. Clearly this gentle, grey-haired grand-fatherly fellow would never consider being untruthful when speaking to American Jews.

One can only imagine, had this group existed back in the thirties, if they would have had a dinner for Adolph Hitler and entertained his vision for world peace. Read More…

“Zionism” and “Pragmatism” are Contradictions in Terms

With the passage of time it should be quite obvious that the process of Zionism, in the Biblical sense, is not a pragmatic one. It defies logic and is not given to political compromise. One cannot hope to achieve peace by compromising on Biblical ideology. The reason that the Jewish People exists is to prove to the entire world that there is a Creator and that His Torah is Truth.

The Living G-d of Israel decreed that His People, Israel, would wander in Exile and be dispersed all over the world. He also decreed that His People, Israel, would eventually be regathered from all over the world and return home to Zion, the Land of Israel, where they will rebuild Jewish sovereignty and conduct their nation according to the Law of G-d. The Dream is Coming True and We are Sleeping!

When a fellow Jew visiting from the states tells me how much he admires my courage and sacrifice for living in the Land of Israel, what he really is doing is trying to assure himself that he is normal. Deep in his heart he knows that he should be living here too. By painting me as an extraordinary hero, he can justify to himself the fact that he has chosen to remain in Exile. He is no hero. He is “normal”.

My son, Avi, related to me a story about Rabbi Kook, Z”tl, the first Chief Rabbi of Israel. When a group of religious Jews from Europe came to visit Israel they also visited with Rabbi Kook. The rabbi asked them why don’t they move here. They replied that they made a careful financial calculation (Cheshbon), and determined that it just was not possible for them. To this the rabbi responded with the Torah portion describing how, before they could enter the Land of Israel, the Children of Israel first had to vanquish Sichon, the King of Cheshbon. When it comes to the Land of Israel, the rabbi admonished, we cannot make a financial calculation. We must rid ourselves of “Cheshbonot” and just come home. The group chose not to heed the rabbi’s advice and they perished in the holocaust. Read More…

Thank you, Helen Thomas

How does one begin to try to understand the outrageous comments by a ninety year old veteran White House correspondent? While she did resign from her job and supposedly apologized for her outburst, one still has trouble understanding why such a person would say such things. A person in her position cannot be judged as stupid or illiterate. Clearly she must be well informed and quite articulate to have achieved the position she was in.

The only explanation I can come up with is the completely irrational reality of antisemitism. Jew hatred is an ancient practice dating back to Biblical times and continuing throughout every generation. As it says in our Passover Hagaddah, “In every generation there arise those who seek to destroy us, and every time our Creator comes to rescue us from them.” Read More…
