The Israeli elections have been over for quite some time. But we still do not have a new government and every day that passes sees new possibilities as to what kind of government will eventually emerge. As I stated previously, the formation of our next government has nothing to do with the will of the voters, rather it is Israel’s version of the game show, “Let’s Make a Deal”. While it appeared that the next government would be dependent upon religious and right wing parties, we now see that Netanyahu may have made Barak an offer he cannot refuse. If this materializes then the right wing will have lost its power and the government will be much like its predecessor. So, once again, we see the great Israeli democracy prove to be nothing more than a rubber stamp to the political whores who think that they run our country and who care more about their seats then they do about the country they presume to run.
The two thousand year Exile of the Jewish People has always been destined to come to an end. The Bible tells us that the day will come when the Living G-d of Israel will regather His Exiles and return them to their ancient homeland, Israel. Certainly we have not yet witnessed the final Redemption, but the very fact that a scattered and beaten remnent of the Jewish People were able to beat impossible odds and reestablish sovereignty over part of their ancient homeland is proof that the process has already begun. Had the Jewish People, as a whole, been worthy of a speedy Redemption I believe we would have already seen it come to completion with even greater miracles than we have already witnessed and without the many tragedies we have been forced to endure. But Redemption is not dependent upon our worthiness. It is an unconditional Promise by the Creator of the Universe which no power on Earth can change. Thus, even if we, the Jewish People wish to ignore or deny our obligations, we will discover that G-d’s Will will be accomplished even in spite of us. In such a case there will be miracles that we fail to recognize accompanied by needless tragedy, such as we have already begun to see.

Redemption cannot be stopped. But needless tragedy can. By demonstrating our faith in G-d and His Torah, we can influence Him to put an end to our suffering and to change hidden miracles into marvelous ones which all the world can clearly see. We all have the potential to participate in this expression of faith.

Project Shofar will be sponsoring Gary M. Cooperberg’s annual speaking tour throughout the USA between June 21 to July 1. Presently he has engagements in Texas from Sunday, June 21 to Monday June 22. There is a possibility he may be in Colorado on Tuesday and Wednesday, 23-24, but that is not yet certain. He expects to be in Florida on Wednesday, July 1.

As always his visit is very brief and thus engagements are extremely limited. He is willing to travel just about anywhere to speak to people who are sincerely interested in the Divine Process of Biblical Zionism. While he accepts contributions, (Project Shofar is a registered USA 501 c3 tax deductible charitable organization), all his travel expenses are covered by Project Shofar and he will not let speaking fees deter him from seeing those who genuinely want to hear him. So if you have a local group who would be interested in having him visit, please feel free to use the contact form to let us know and he will make every effort to come.
